Ed and Heidi Savitt are an example of a couple that don’t really feel that fate brought them together forever, whereas other couples seem to know deep down that they were destined to be together.
When they were both students at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom in 2011, they had their first encounter. Ed, a student living in Heidi’s former residence, was in desperate need of assistance with the dryer.
He texted Heidi to find out how the dryer operated, and ever since, the two of them have become inseparable, which naturally resulted in their wedding.
At the attractive but youthful age of 26, they tied the knot.
However, their tale is far from over:
It appears that Kay Parker, Heidi’s mother, had a strange sensation about Ed when they first met and believed that she knew him in some way.
She tried her hardest to figure out what it was, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. There seemed to be something about him. She chose to look into it since she was determined to figure out how she felt!
During the dinner party, when Ed’s mother Fiona was also present, Kay made a casual comment about a sailing trip the family had taken to Turkey when Heidi was just six years old.
Kay noted that Heidi had a charming and adorable “boyfriend” during their vacation, whose name also happened to be “Ed.”
Throughout their two-week vacation in Turkey, the two adorable children played together and held hands, the speaker stated.
Fiona also felt that the name was somewhat of a coincidence—so much so that she shattered her wineglass—but she didn’t think about it much after that.
On the other hand, Kay did think about it a lot and felt that she would find out for sure when she got home, one way or another!
Kay went exploring in the attic in search of Heidi’s old pictures. Then she discovered something intriguing in her collection of Heidi pictures: a picture of Heidi and Ed from 20 years ago!
Heidi, who had long since forgotten about her childhood romance, was shown them by Kay.
Little six-year-old Ed was with her; despite having a terrible, out-of-style bowl haircut, his face remained remarkably familiar.
Heidi stated, “It was just unbelievable; I was screaming.” The idea that we could have married and started a family together and never learned about this is absurd.
When Kay revealed what she had learned to Fiona, the mother of the groom exclaimed, “Oh my goodness, that’s Ed!”
After changing her opinion and becoming a believer, Heidi had never thought that fate existed.It must have been fate working its magic to reunite them!
Kay believes that when they first met, they both knew in their hearts that they had already met and had experienced something great together; Heidi concurs, and she also now claims that when she first saw Ed, she knew he was the one!➕
