The search for the 9-year-old girl who disappeared has ended. Anna Cecillya dos Santos Silva, 9 years old, disappeared last Tuesday (21) in Branquinha, Alagoas, after leaving home to play. Unfortunately, her b.o đy was found on Sunday (26).
“My life has lost its meaning. I can’t sleep, eat or have any energy, because my daughter is no longer at home,” lamented Juliana dos Santos, the girl’s mother.
Anna lived with her mother, stepfather and siblings. According to Juliana, her daughter never left home to play. “She always stayed nearby, she never went with strangers,” she said.
The child’s grandmother was the last to see her before her disappearance. “She was on the corner and I told her to come back home. After that, a neighbor saw her pass by, but she didn’t return,” reported Maria Aparecida dos Santos. The girl’s b.o đy was buried on Tuesday . The release occurred after a request from the Public Defender’s Office of Alagoas, which requested a DNA test for identification, as there were no documents available. The process could take months, causing an.g ∪ish to the family, but the Justice system determined that the release should occur within 24 hours.
During the funeral, Anna’s mother, visibly s.h αken, carried flowers. «I just want God to take care of her,» said Juliana, emotionally. The girl’s uncle, José Celino, highlighted her sweetness. «She never hurt anyone. She was innocent and very loved.» In addition, a 17-year-old teenager confessed to the c.r ìme and stated that he a.c ŧed under t.h ŕeat from a 19-year-old man, ar.r ℮sted the previous day. According to the investigations, he was the boyfriend of a maternal aunt of the v.i ćtim and had recently moved to Alagoas.
