La faim le tenaillait. Il se recroquevillait pour se réchauffer…

This is Palito when he first came home.

He kept collapsing…
but even then, I could tell — he was finally happy.

Palito was found a week ago, collapsed on the road.

Locals told us he had been walking for days,
searching desperately for his owner.

What he didn’t know was the c.r ∪el truth — he had already been dumped in a completely different town,
far away from his home,
so he could never find his way back.

When we found him,
he hadn’t eaten in a long time.

His body was t.e ŕrifyingly emaciated.
His bones pressed against his skin,
as if they wanted to break through.

You could see his heartbeat beneath his ribs.

And yet, in his eyes — fear… but also gentleness.

He was still kind. Still trusting.

X-rays showed his stomach was completely empty.
He also had a cystolith, caused by severe dehydration.

By some miracle,
there were no broken bones.

After receiving a b.l σod transfusion,
Palito collapsed again.

But the next day,
he showed us his strength.

He became a little better.
He started to eat — just a bit.

The day after that,
I brought Palito home.

He tried so hard.

And in his eyes,
there was something new — hope.

He began walking slowly around my room.
Still p.a ìnfully thin,
but his appetite gradually returned.

Then came a beautiful moment —
the first time he finished a full bowl of raw food.

You’re doing so well, Palito.

He looked at me with pure gratitude.

Palito gained 1.2 kilograms
still a long journey ahead,
but his strength is growing.

He walks more easily now.

His first walk in the garden was exhausting —
and afterward, he ate like a little monster.

There is still a long way to go…
but Palito is no longer alone.

He has received so many gifts,
so much love from our community.

Someone even gave him a bowl with his face on it.

Palito is now under the care of Amigurumi Masita,
who are raising funds to cover his treatment.

Not only for Palito,
but also for many others at Hogar Amor De Galgo.

🤍 If you can, please support Palito with a like.
Because love—and kindness—saved Palito’s life.
