This is Toffee, a gentle soul who recently returned to Manali Strays.
This was her third visit, a place where she always felt safe and cared for.
But this time, something was clearly wrong.
Her belly was enormously swollen, making her look like she was p.r ℮gnant.
But in reality, she wasn’t carrying new life inside her.
She was s.u ƒfering from a condition called ascites.
Fluid had built up inside her abdomen, putting pressure on her organs.
Her weight kept increasing day by day, making it hard to move.

She could no longer stand on her own legs due to the heaviness.
But even in p.a ìn, Toffee remained calm and trusting.
Maybe it’s because she remembered the kindness she had received before.
The Manali Strays team acted quickly and with care.
They gave her a complete medical check-up.
Then, they carefully sedated her and began the treatment.
The first priority was to relieve the pressure from her abdomen.
So the team drained the fluid carefully.
It was a delicate but life-saving procedure.
Once stable, Toffee was admitted for close observation.
Her vitals were monitored around the clock.
She was given everything she needed to rest and recover.
And slowly, Toffee began to show signs of healing.
Her body was still weak, but her spirit was strong.
She had been through this before, and won.
And now, she’s fighting once again with courage.
Thanks to Manali Strays, Toffee is getting a second chance.
