This poor dog lay curled up in front of the house, as if waiting for the e.n đ.
The owner ignored his desperate cries and simply went back inside.
His body was stiff and emaciated—nothing but skin and bones.
His eyes were sunken, as if he had already lost all hope.
He could not understand why the person he trusted had a.b αndoned him like this.
Even the doctors could not understand how he was still alive.
The dog was s.u ƒfering from severe dehydration, anemia, and extreme weakness.
His skin was badly inflamed, and most of his fur had fallen out.
He urgently needed a b.l σod transfusion to survive.
His stomach was empty and p.a ìnfully thin.
His gums were pale, and his teeth were weak.
That night at the clinic was chaotic and stressful for everyone.
For the first week, he was too fragile even for a bath.
After seven days, we were finally able to clean his skin so that medication could be applied.
After the bath, he was wrapped in warm blankets and carefully fed.
Tests for toxoplasmosis and neospora came back negative.
X-rays revealed several old rib fractures that had healed on their own.
We also contacted the owner to ask what had happened.
He said the dog had been “naughty” and difficult to control.
According to them, they had simply locked him outside to “retrain” him.
They even said, “Maybe after some time like this, his behavior will improve.”
We could not believe anyone could say such things.
Despite everything, the dog slowly began to recover.
We named him Ares.
He was given a warm coat to keep his fragile body protected.
Little by little, his condition improved.
His hematocrit levels increased, and his nutrition began to stabilize.
However, his stomach was very sensitive, and he often s.u ƒfered from bloating.
His meals had to be prepared carefully and in small portions.
Slowly, his breathing became normal again.
The progress was real—but much slower than we had hoped.
Every day, Ares fought to regain his strength.
The doctors were amazed that he had survived at all.
Authorities also became involved in the case.
Strangely, the former owners did not seem to understand their mistake.
They insisted they had done nothing wrong.
But Ares’s body told the real story.
Even after weeks of treatment, he still could not walk.
His muscles were too weak.
Even lifting his head was a challenge.
He began receiving massages and physical therapy.
His diet was supported with special nutritional supplements.
At first, he needed a small wheelchair to help him learn to walk again.
Day by day, he became stronger.
Eventually, he was able to stand on his own without the wheelchair.
His recovery continued to surprise everyone.
Slowly, his fur began growing back thicker and healthier.
The past two months had been extremely difficult for all of us.
But together, we made it through.
Finally, the day came for his last visit to the clinic.
It was time to say goodbye to the team who had saved his life.
Everyone at the clinic had grown attached to him.
They hugged him, kissed him, and wished him a happy future.
Someone even prepared a special gift for him.
Ares had become an inspiration to everyone.
There was a time when people believed he could not survive.
But he proved them wrong.
Now he was ready for a new chapter.
On the way home, we were filled with excitement.
Despite everything he had been through, Ares still believed in people.
Not only had his body healed—his soul had healed as well.
The love and kindness he received gave him the strength to live again.

Ares is about five years old.
He is calm, gentle, and incredibly loyal.

Now a new future opens for him every day.
We walk together, explore the city together, and enjoy every moment.
The transformation in him still amazes me.
I feel proud every time he walks beside me.
The former owners eventually admitted their mistake.
They were required to pay part of his medical bills.
And they are no longer allowed to own pets.
Ares left his p.a ìnful past behind.
Now he is an important member of my family.
He is smart, protective, and full of love.
Having him at home brings a deep sense of peace and safety.
He is always curious about everything new in life.
And I’m sure many people will fall in love with him at first sight.
