I came across this object while tidying up a bit — a black handle with small metal rods at the ends… Honestly, I had no idea what it was. It looked very specific, like a tool designed for one very particular purpose.
At first, I thought it might be some strange gadget or a random accessory. But the more I looked at it, the stranger it seemed.
Of course, I had to ask.
It turns out it’s actually a tool for a virtual reality headset — specifically the HTC Vive. It’s used to remove or adjust the facial foam (the soft part that touches your face) so it can be cleaned or replaced.
Once it was explained, it suddenly made perfect sense 😄
Just goes to show that even the simplest objects can look completely mysterious when you don’t know the context.
So there you have it… nothing weird — just a VR accessory 🎮
