At first glance, it looks like a strange creature — almost like a giant centipede or something alive. The shape, the little “branches” all around it… honestly, it’s pretty confusing.
I had never seen anything like it in nature before, and it really caught my attention.
But after looking into it a bit more, the answer turned out to be much simpler than I thought…
👉 It’s a plant root.
Most likely the root of a tree or a shrub, with its smaller secondary roots giving it that strange, almost “living” appearance.
When roots are pulled out of the soil — especially when they’re still damp — they can look like creatures or something completely unusual.
So nothing mysterious or d.a חgerous — just a piece of nature playing tricks on our imagination 😄
