We went hiking with friends. Suddenly, we discovered this on a tree. We looked at it from different angles, but we still couldn’t figure out what it is. Does anyone know what it is?

At first, we thought it was something really strange… maybe a parasite, or even some kind of unknown creature. Its unusual shape and those small structures around it really surprised us.

But after a bit of research, we finally found the answer 👇

👉 It’s actually a Red Triangle Slug (Triboniophorus graeffei).

It’s a species of land slug native to the east coast of Australia. It’s known for the red triangle-shaped marking on its body, which gives it a very unique… and sometimes a little c.r ℮epy look 😅

These slugs can produce a very thick and sticky mucus, and they usually live in humid environments like forests.

Honestly, we definitely didn’t expect to see something like this during a simple walk 😄

👇 Did you guess what it was?
