At first, it looked like something… alive. Some kind of stranded creature, with a strange texture that almost seemed organic. The surface was damaged, almost like it had been b.u ŕned by the sun and saltwater, and the cylindrical shape really made it look like a b.o đy.
The more I looked at it, the stranger it seemed. You could see different layers, as if the object was made of several parts wrapped around each other. In some places, the outer “skin” was torn, revealing an unexpected internal structure — almost like fabric or mesh.
Honestly, for a moment I hesitated to get closer. On a beach, you expect to find shells or driftwood… not something that looks like this.
After a bit of research and comparing it with other similar discoveries, the answer turned out to be much less mysterious than I thought.
👉 It’s actually an old cable (probably submarine or industrial) that was washed ashore. Over time, saltwater, sand, and the sun damaged the outer layer, revealing the different internal layers — which gives it that strange, almost “organic” appearance.
Next time I walk on the beach, I’ll definitely take a closer look at what I find… 😅
