I found this this morning on my slippers, right next to my bed.
At first, I honestly panicked a little. These small brown shapes, all identical and perfectly aligned… they almost looked like eggs. I just sat there staring at them for a long time, not really daring to touch them.
The more I looked, the stranger it seemed. How did this end up here, on my slippers? Did it come from outside? Did something pass through during the night? Honestly, I imagined quite a few scenarios…
The texture, the shape, the little pieces around them… everything looked strange at first glance. I even thought it might be something alive 😅
But after a bit of research, the answer turned out to be much simpler than I expected.
👉 They’re actually flax seeds, probably stuck to shoes or clothing before falling here.
