We were walking peacefully, enjoying the silence of the forest. The leaves were crunching under our feet, the air was fresh… nothing unusual.
And then, my son suddenly stopped.
He pointed at something without saying a word.
At first, I didn’t understand. Then I stepped closer… and that’s when I saw it.
Sticking out of the ground, as if it had appeared out of nowhere. A long, pale shape… and at the end, something like red fingers, almost alive.
Honestly, I got chills.
It wasn’t a normal plant. Not a typical mushroom either. It looked like something… alive.
We just stood there, staring at it, not daring to get too close. My son asked me:
“Is it d.a חgerous?”
I had no answer.
The more I looked at it, the more it felt like it had just appeared. Like the forest was hiding things you don’t usually see…
Then I noticed something.
A strange smell. Not very strong… but unpleasant. Like something rotting.
And that’s when it all started to make sense.
👉 It’s not a creature at all…
It’s a rare mushroom called “d.e ∨il’s fingers.”
It uses that smell to attract insects… which then spread its spores.
Nothing supernatural. Just nature… in its strangest form 😅
