I was cleaning my grandfather’s room and found this in an old drawer.

At first, I thought it was just some forgotten object with no real importance. But the moment I picked it up, I immediately felt there was something unusual about it.

The wood was worn down, almost polished by years of use. The metal felt cold and solid, with mechanisms I didn’t really understand. Some kind of spring inside, a small button on top… and especially that strange shape, almost like a tool… or something else.

I turned it around in every direction. I tried to imagine my grandfather using it. Was it a workshop tool? An old device? Or something completely different?

The more I looked at it, the more I felt like it had a story behind it. Maybe he used it in his workshop. Maybe it was an everyday object from a time when everything was done by hand.

So I started paying attention to the details. The mechanism, the trigger, the spring… everything seemed designed to apply pressure, to push something through the front of the object.

And then, suddenly, it all made sense.

👉 It’s actually an old syringe g.u ח, a tool that was once used to apply glue with precision.
