At first, I thought it was some kind of pa.r αsite or strange creature that had somehow crawled into the house. The shape looked so unusual that neither of us wanted to touch it with our b.a ŕe hands.
My husband grabbed a tissue and carefully picked it up while I stood there trying not to panic. We turned it over, looked at it from every angle, and came up with all kinds of theories. The more we looked at it, the stranger it seemed.
For a while, we were convinced it had to be something d.a חgerous. It looked almost alien, with its strange green shell-like surface and soft-looking underside. Neither of us had ever seen anything like it before.
After searching online and comparing photos, we finally figured it out.
👉 It turns out this is a beetle pupa — the stage between a larva and an adult beetle. Inside that strange-looking casing, a large beetle is developing before emerging as a fully grown insect.
Honestly, that explanation was a lot less s.c αry than the ideas we came up with while staring at it for twenty minutes. 😅
