Before leaving, everything in the house was completely normal. I locked the doors, turned off the lights, and went away to enjoy a week-long vacation by the sea.
When I returned, I was happy to be back home. While unpacking my things, I walked into the bathroom and immediately noticed something strange in a corner near the wall. 😳
At first, I thought an animal had d.i ℮d there while I was away. Then I wondered if it was an insect nest, or even some kind of creature that had come out of the pipes. The longer I looked at it, the less I understood what it was. 😅
I stayed several feet away from it for quite a while, staring at it without daring to touch it. I even took photos and showed them to my friends, but nobody could give me a definite answer. 🤔
Finally, after doing some research, I discovered that it was neither an animal nor a nest. It was actually a slime mold, a strange organism that had appeared because of excessive moisture in the bathroom during my absence. 😮
Mystery solved! 😅
