This morning, I went to the beach with my dog to enjoy the sea air and take a long walk. Everything was completely normal until we noticed something strange lying on the sand near the shoreline.
At first, I thought it was a piece of fishing net or an old tarp washed ashore by the waves. But when I looked more closely, I realized it had a very unusual appearance: a translucent mass with long strands that looked like hair or tentacles. My dog wanted to get closer, but I held him back just to be safe.
I stood at a distance for several minutes watching it. The longer I looked, the stranger it seemed. I even took a few photos to show my friends, but nobody could figure out what it was.
After some research, the mystery was finally solved: it was a Lion’s Mane Jellyfish, a giant species of jellyfish that had been washed onto the beach by the sea during the night.
