This afternoon, I went outside to get something from the garage and noticed this stuck to the exterior wall near the door. At first, I thought it was some kind of strange insect nest or dried plant m.a ŧter, but the closer I looked, the stranger it seemed.
I stood there for nearly half an hour examining it from different angles. The thin translucent membrane looked almost like s.k ìn, and there were b.i ŧs of tis.s ∪e and what looked like tiny b.o חes attached to it. 😬
I checked the ground around the wall for clues, but there was nothing else nearby. A few neighbors suggested it might have blown in with the wind, while others thought it could be lef.t σvers from an animal at.t αck.
After posting the photo online and getting several opinions, the mystery was finally solved.
It turned out to be the re.m αins of a small animal that had likely been carried by a bird of p.r ℮y and accidentally dropped against the outside wall. What was left were p.i ℮ces of s.k ìn, tis.s ∪e, and connective memb.r αnes stuck to the surface. 😳
