This morning, I woke up and noticed something strange lying on my bedsheet.
At first, I honestly thought I was still half asleep. There was this small, pale, oddly shaped object sitting right in the middle of the bed. I had absolutely no idea how it had gotten there.
I carefully picked it up with a tissue and placed it on my nightstand so I could take a closer look.
The more I examined it, the stranger it seemed. It was soft, slightly sticky, and had an unusual shape. It almost looked like a piece of something that had melted overnight.
I spent the next half hour trying to figure out what it could be. I even started wondering whether it was some kind of insect, a piece of sk.i ח, or something that had somehow fallen onto the bed during the night.
Then I remembered that my child had been playing in my room the evening before and had been eating candy.
I checked the bed again and finally noticed a tiny sticky spot on the bedsheet.
That’s when everything suddenly made sense.
👉 It turned out to be a gummy candy that my child had left on the bed the night before. Because of the warmth during the night, it had softened, partially melted, and completely lost its original shape.
I spent thirty minutes investigating a candy without even realizing it. 😂
