Paloma Nicole Arellano Escobedo t.r αgically d.i ℮d in a hospital in Durango, Mexico, after suffering a cerebral edema due to a respiratory illness, but her father claims the true cause of d.e αth has nothing to do with the official report. Carlos Arellano accused the 14-year-old girl’s mother and her plastic surgeon partner of causing Paloma’s d.e αth by performing b.r ℮ast augmentation surgery without his consent.
According to Mexican media reports, Paloma allegedly underwent several procedures, including b.r ℮ast augmentation, a Brazilian b.u ŧt lift, and liposuction. The case sparked public outrage in Mexico, and authorities launched an investigation into the teenager’s d.e αth. «The d.e αth certificate mistakenly listed ‘respiratory illness’ as the cause of d.e αth in an attempt to conceal the truth. «They handed it over to us immediately. I don’t know how they got it so quickly,» Carlos said. «I demand that all those responsible be punished.»
The g.r ìef-st.r ìcken father filed a complaint after his daughter’s fu.n ℮ral, claiming there was «more to her d.e αth» and accusing his ex-wife of a cover-up. He told Mexican reporters that he spoke with the teenager’s mother about a week before her d.e αth, and she told them they were going to the mountains because Paloma had tested positive for Covid-19. A few days later, she called and said she had been hospitalized in serious condition. Only during the fu.n ℮ral did he realize something was wrong. «At the fu.n ℮ral, some relatives told me her b.r ℮asts were larger than before, and when I told her mother, she said it wasn’t true, that she didn’t know anything,» Carlos recounted. «That evening, I asked her mother to leave the room so I could talk to her and say goodbye.
