This dog was found hiding in a hole, with her mouth s.e αled shut with tape.
Her legs were tightly t.i ℮d with rope.
It looked like she had been hiding there for several days.
When I found her, she was t.e ŕrified.
Her muzzle was nec.r σtic.
She had been starving for days.
She weighed only 3 kg — not even the weight of a healthy puppy.
How could anyone do this to an innocent dog?
At that moment, her life was hanging by a thread.
The doctors did everything they could to save her.
The adhesive tape had blocked the b.l σod circulation to her muzzle.
She had been s.u ƒfering more than anyone could imagine.
Little by little, the doctors carefully removed the tape.
Despite the p.a ìn, she kept trying to eat.
The doctors gave her strong p.a ìnk.i ł lers.
But she still cr.i ℮d while eating.
She wanted to live.
And she kept fighting.
She was given intravenous fluids to stabilize her condition.
Everyone worked together to save her life.
She would need a complex s.u ŕgery.
The doctors planned to reconstruct the damaged tissue around her muzzle.
Two weeks later, the reconstruction procedure was performed.
The surgeon worked very carefully, paying attention to every detail.
The doctor warned us that her chances of recovery were extremely low.
But fortunately, everything went well.
“The muzzle support must stay on for at least ten days,” the doctor said.
Those words stayed in my mind.
How had this dog survived all those days before we found her?
One month later, her recovery felt like a miracle.
Her weight had already doubled since the day she was rescued.
What she endured was beyond imagination.
We tried to understand what had happened to her.
One theory was that she had escaped from a transport cage.
There were several bu.t ćher shops nearby.
We feared she might have been taken there.
Perhaps she hid in that trench out of fear.
Others believed that her owner had done this.
Maybe someone simply didn’t want to care for her anymore.
But even imagining that felt unbearable.
We had never met an owner capable of such c.r ∪elty.
Eventually, she was sent to a foster home for continued care and observation.
She still needed antibiotics.
Some of her w.o ∪nds would still h.u ŕt from time to time.
And the emotional p.a ìn was still there.
Sometimes she would lie quietly, looking thoughtful and sad.
Many people sent gifts for her.
Friends often came to visit after hearing her story.
What she went through felt like a nightmare.
Just imagining it gave people chills.
But during that time, something beautiful happened.
She made new friends.
Other dogs helped her recover.
Little by little, her fear began to fade.
Her sadness slowly disappeared.
Her muzzle healed.
And she became even more beautiful.
The p.a ìn no longer kept her awake at night.
What helped her survive those t.e ŕrible days remains a mystery.
But somehow, she held on.
We also informed the authorities about her case.
They tried to investigate.
But unfortunately, there was no evidence.
We may never know who did this to her.
The authorities said it was lucky that the trench where she hid was dry.
If it had been filled with water, the story might have ended very differently.
We decided to focus on giving her the life she deserved.
We named this beautiful girl Momo.
Since that day, her life has completely changed.
Now her days are filled with happiness and smiles.
For the first time in her life, she saw the sea.
She loved lying on the warm sand.
She ran happily along the beach.
She even jumped into the waves.
Momo finally discovered how beautiful life can be.
Now happiness seems to follow her everywhere.
She has me.
She has wonderful friends.
And most importantly…
She will be loved and protected for the rest of her life.
