I found this in my son’s room.
He says he has no idea where it came from…
At first, I just stood there staring at it,
trying to figure out what I was even looking at.
It didn’t look like anything normal.
Dark, rough, oddly shaped…
and completely covered in dozens of tiny bead-like bumps 😳
I didn’t want to touch it.
Honestly, my mind went straight to the worst-case scenarios —
some kind of eggs?
a nest?
something alive growing in there?!
I even called him in again,
thinking maybe he was hiding something.
But he looked just as confused as I was.
After a bit of hesitation (and courage),
I finally decided to take a closer look…
And the truth turned out to be way less dramatic —
but still pretty g.r σss 😅
It’s actually animal d.r σppings filled with undigested seeds.
Most likely from a dog or even a fox that had eaten berries 🍇
The fruit gets digested,
but the seeds don’t —
so they pass right through and end up like this.
Which explains the strange texture
and those tiny round pieces all over it.
So no, it’s not eggs.
Not a parasite.
Not something about to hatch 😬
But still…
That leaves one very important question —
how on earth did it end up in my son’s room?! 🤨
Did someone step on it and track it inside?
Did a pet bring it in?
Or is there a story I’m still not being told…? 🕵️♂️
