At first, I thought it was just another random plastic object — you know, one of those little things kids keep around and you have no idea where they came from. It was sitting there among dead batteries, toy parts, and a few other mysterious items.
But this one seemed… useful. Bright red, sturdy, with a strange shape — like it actually had a real purpose.
I asked my son. Of course, he had no idea either.
We tried to guess — maybe a toy part, a tool, or something related to a bike or a broken device. Nothing really matched.
Then we finally figured it out.
It’s actually a bottle holder clip — a small plastic accessory that attaches to the neck of a bottle so you can carry it easily or hook it onto a bag. The ring is used to hold or attach it, while the sides keep the bottle securely in place.
Once you know what it is, it seems obvious.
It just goes to show that even the simplest objects can seem mysterious when you see them out of context.
So there you have it… not a toy, not a tool — just a simple little trick for carrying your drink.
