Meet Ternura
A family contacted us while walking near the beach,
their voices filled with worry and urgency.
They told us about a dog in t.e ŕrible condition,
barely holding on to life.
When we found her…
our hearts s.h αttered.
She was chained to a pole with a heavy metal c.h αin,
unable to move, unable to escape.
Her body was nothing but skin and bones,
every rib p.a ìnfully visible.
She lay there silently,
looking at us with eyes full of sadness.
Eyes that had already given up.
We searched for answers
and eventually found the owner.
She claimed she had rescued her from the streets…
But the truth was un.b ℮arable.
She had kept her t.i ℮d up for two weeks,
without proper food, without water, without care.
That wasn’t rescue.
That was s.u ƒfering.
We didn’t waste another second.
We carried Ternura in our arms
and rushed her straight to the clinic.
Her body was weak,
covered in w.o ∪nds and p.a ìn.
Yet… she showed no agg.r ℮ssion.
She didn’t try to bite.
She didn’t fight back.
She was just scared.
Quiet.
Gentle.

The diagnosis was serious.
Severe malnutrition,
and d.a חgerous liver problems.
Her body needed urgent care,
and a carefully controlled diet.
So we made her a promise —
we would bring her back to life.
She was placed under constant supervision,
receiving treatment day and night.
Every moment mattered.
She was too weak to even walk properly,
each step a struggle.
But slowly…
something began to change.
Day by day,
she started getting stronger.
We stayed by her side,
supporting her, believing in her.
And she began to believe too.
Her strength returned.
Her eyes changed.
That deep sadness
was slowly replaced with hope.
After two weeks,
the transformation was incredible.
She gained weight.
Her liver condition improved.
Her body was healing.
But more importantly…
her spirit was healing.
Love did what nothing else could.
It saved her.
Ternura was given a second chance at life.
A chance she always deserved.
Soon, she will go to her new home,
where she will finally feel safe.
We received many adoption requests for her,
but she still needs a little more time.
A little more healing.
A little more love.
And she will be ready.
