We found this strange case tucked away in the back of an old cabinet while cleaning out his house. At first, we thought it might be some kind of tool kit… but when we opened it, we were completely confused.
Inside were these glass attachments — some shaped like a comb, others like a spoon, and one that honestly looks like something from a sci-fi movie. There’s also a handle connected to a box with dials and numbers. It even plugs into the wall.
Naturally, our minds started racing 😅
Was it medical? Some kind of experiment? Or maybe an old device nobody uses anymore?
The glass pieces look delicate, but also very specific — like each one had a purpose. And the whole thing feels way too intentional to be random.
We even joked that it might be some kind of vintage “alien tech” because of how unusual it looks.
After a bit of research, we finally figured it out… and the answer was both surprising and kind of fascinating 👇
👉 It’s actually a vintage “violet ray” electrotherapy device, once used for skincare treatments, hair stimulation, and early cosmetic therapy.
