This morning I walked into my girlfriend’s bathroom and noticed something really strange on the floor.
At first, I didn’t even want to get closer. It looked… weird. Pale, soft-looking, kind of shiny, and completely out of place. My first thought? Something alive. Or at least something that used to be.
I called her in, and we both just stood there staring at it for a good few minutes. Neither of us could figure it out. It didn’t look like anything we recognized. No legs, no clear shape, just this odd, slightly curved piece sitting on the wet tile.
The longer we looked, the more confused we got.
“How did this even get here?”
“Did it fall from somewhere?”
“Was it always here and we just never noticed?”
At one point we even started coming up with crazy theories. Maybe it was some kind of bug… or something that came through the drain. The bathroom was still damp, which made it look even more suspicious.
But then something clicked.
The texture… the color… the way it looked slightly melted.
So we checked around the sink and the shower.
And yeah… we finally figured it out.
It’s just a piece of soap that got wet, softened, and fell onto the floor — that’s why it looks so strange.
