We found this thing in our grandfather’s garage.

We found this strange wooden thing in our grandfather’s garage. At first, it looked like some kind of broken bench or maybe part of an old machine. But the more we stared at it, the more confused we got.

There’s a small wooden platform with legs… and then this odd metal piece sticking out the front. The metal part has sharp, jagged teeth, almost like a s.a ẃ—but way too small to actually c.u ŧ anything. And it moves slightly, like it was meant to be used in a very specific way.

The whole family gathered around it, each of us guessing something different. One thought it was a tool for woodworking. Another said it might be some kind of old farming device.

We tried holding it, turning it, imagining how it could be used… but nothing made sense at first. Why would anyone build something like this?

Then we started thinking about where it was found. Our grandfather kept a lot of unusual tools, some of them from different countries. That’s when it clicked…

👉 It’s actually a traditional coconut scraper. You sit on the wooden base and use the sharp metal teeth to sc.r αpe out the flesh of a coconut.
