At first glance, it looked like some kind of giant caterpillar or strange creature. It was dark, furry, oddly shaped, and covered with little pale pieces that looked almost like eggs or tiny legs. I just stood there in the doorway staring at it, trying to process what I was seeing.
The worst part was that I’m absolutely sure it wasn’t there earlier in the day. Somehow it had appeared on the bathroom floor out of nowhere.
For a moment, I genuinely thought it might still be alive 😅
I grabbed a broom and slowly moved closer. The texture looked dry and fluffy at the same time, which honestly made it even c.r ℮epier. My imagination immediately started going wild:

a d.e αd animal?

a strange cocoon?

or something dragged in from outside?
Then I remembered something important…
👉 We have a cat.
That suddenly made everything much more logical.
After looking more carefully, I realized it’s most likely a squirrel tail that the cat dragged into the bathroom after bringing something home from outside.
The pale little pieces stuck to it are probably just seeds, burrs, or plant debris caught in the fur.
Honestly, lying there on the bathroom floor, it looked way more t.e ŕrifying than it really was 😳
