I found this on the bathroom floor early this morning when I walked in half asleep. What made it even worse was the fact that I’m absolutely sure it wasn’t there the night before. The second I noticed it, my heart honestly dropped. For a few seconds I just stood there frozen, staring at it from the doorway and trying to understand what I was looking at.
At first glance, it looked h.o ŕrifying. The shape was strange, almost like a tiny s.k ∪ll or some kind of dried cr.e αture. The dark opening on the front made it look even c.r ℮epier, and because of the lighting in the bathroom, it genuinely felt like something out of a h.o ŕror movie.
I didn’t even want to get close to it at first. I grabbed some toilet paper and slowly moved toward it, trying not to panic. The weirdest part was that my cat kept following me around and watching me the entire time like she already knew exactly what it was.
For almost half an hour, I sat there searching online and comparing pictures because I couldn’t stop thinking about where this thing came from. My imagination was going completely wild. I thought maybe it was p.a ŕt of some animal, or something dragged in from outside during the night.
Then everything suddenly started to make sense.
I remembered hearing my cat running around late at night, probably h.u חting something in the house again. After looking more carefully and comparing it with photos online, I finally understood what I was actually seeing.
👉 It turned out to be the s.t σmach of a rat that my cat didn’t eat and left on the bathroom floor. 😭
