Meet Rocky!
A beautiful little puppy.
He was crawling across the cold ground.
Begging every passerby for help.
Rocky had escaped from a group of teenagers who treated him like a toy.
They l.e ƒt him unable to use his back legs.
When he saw us, he dragged his tiny b.o đy toward us.

Desperately trying to get away from the people who h.u ŕt him.
All he wanted was a little safety.
But we wanted to give him much more than that.
We wanted to give him a chance at a happy life.
We rushed him to the veterinarian.
The doctors examined him carefully.
Thankfully, all viral tests came back negative.
But the cause of his pa.r αlysis remained unclear.
His back legs showed almost no response during testing.
After reviewing his X-rays, the veterinarian believed the problem was connected to his spine.
Because Rocky was still very young, s.u ŕgery would need to wait until he grew bigger.
Only then could doctors attempt to help him walk again.
Despite everything he had endured, Rocky never gave up.
He greeted each day with joy.
He loved to play.
He loved attention.
And he never stopped smiling.
We moved him into a loving foster home.
A place where he could finally feel safe.

A place filled with warmth, comfort, and affection.
There he quickly made many new friends.
Everyone fell in love with his sweet personality.
He was gentle.
Playful.
And impossibly cute.
Watching him run around with his friends brought happiness to everyone around him.
As the weeks passed, Rocky became more than a rescue dog.
He became family.
We grew deeply attached to him.
And he grew attached to us.
We knew the day would come when he would leave for a forever home.
But thinking about saying goodbye was heartb.r ℮aking.
To Rocky, we were his family.
The people who protected him.
The people who stayed beside him through every challenge.
One day he will find a loving home of his own.
A family who will give him all the love and care he deserves.
Until then, we will continue fighting for him.
Rocky has grown stronger every day.
And now he is finally big enough for s.u ŕgery.
Soon he will undergo the ope.r αtion that could help him walk again.
We are hopeful.
We are nervous.
But most of all, we believe in him.
Because if anyone can overcome the impossible, it is Rocky.
This brave little puppy has already survived so much.
And his story is only beginning.
