My girlfriend walked into her room and suddenly sc.r ℮amed. I ran after her and saw this lying right on the bed.
Honestly, it was the first time in my life that I had ever seen anything like it. There were several strange brown objects stuck together with a shiny, sticky substance that almost looked like honey.
We stood there for nearly an hour, staring at them and trying to figure out what they could be. At first, we thought they were some kind of eggs or even d.e αd insects. The more we looked at them, the stranger they seemed.
Then I decided to check the ceiling directly above the bed. That’s when I noticed a small damaged spot and a few traces that looked like something had been attached there before.
After doing a bit of research, everything finally made sense.
👉 These were small mud chambers built by solitary bees. They had been attached to the ceiling for some time, and eventually the whole cluster detached and fell directly onto the blanket.
The shiny substance wasn’t honey at all — it was simply part of the material and natural secretions the bees used while building the nest.
Honestly, we spent an entire hour convincing ourselves that we had discovered something t.e ŕrifying, but it turned out to be a harmless bee nest that had fallen from the ceiling. 😅
