I ordered a pizza for dinner and was really looking forward to eating it. When the delivery driver arrived, I brought the box into the kitchen and opened it right away.
Everything looked completely normal at first. But when I picked up one of the slices, I suddenly noticed this strange, brownish-yellow piece stuck to the top. My appetite disappeared instantly. 😳
At first, I honestly had no idea what I was looking at. It looked almost like some kind of dried insect or strange piece of s.k ìn. I picked up the slice carefully and examined the object from different angles, trying to figure out how something like that could have ended up on my pizza.
I even wondered if it had changed shape because of the intense heat inside the oven. The more I looked at it, the more it seemed like it might have originally been a vegetable that had shriveled and curled during baking.
After checking the ingredients and asking around, I finally found the answer. It turned out to be a piece of yellow bell pepper that had changed shape, dried out, and browned slightly from the heat of the oven. 🫑🍕
