Although Michael J. Fox has received numerous awards for his acting career, being a father is undoubtedly his proudest accomplishment to yet.
The Back to the Future actor joked recently to Reader’s Digest that while though he and his more than thirty-year wife Tracy Pollan had four children together, sometimes it “feels like five.”
He also gave the source some of his best parenting tips, stating, “Always be available to your kids.” For example, if you say, “Give me five minutes, give me ten,” it will actually be fifteen or twenty. And whatever it was they wanted to impart with you will have faded by the time you arrive.
“I have never awoken to see something my children have wanted to show me and not been rewarded,” he declared.
Seven years after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, the actor made his condition public. In a 2009 interview, he talked about his family life and the effects of the illness with Good Housekeeping.
“They’ll just do it and carry on if I’m reaching for something,” he said of his kids. “They’ve learned empathy, resilience, and also sorting out what’s important from what’s not — things like vanity.”
Fox is incredibly close to his family; all four of his adult children are featured on his Instagram feed.

Sam Michael Fox, 35
Sam Michael Fox was born on May 30, 1989, to Fox and Pollan. The couple’s only child, Sam, is what they are most enthusiastic about being parents to for the first time, Fox said to PEOPLE at the time.
In December 1989, he said, “We did the whole womb music thing, where we put the headphones on Tracy’s stomach and played everything from Vivaldi to the Allman Brothers.”
There’s no denying how much Sam and his father resemble each other in photos when they pose side by side.

29-year-old Kathleen Aquinnah Fox
The couple had Schuyler Frances Fox and Aquinnah Kathleen Fox, twin girls, on February 15, 1995.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Aquinnah majored in psychology, visual and media studies, and art history while attending Duke University. While in college, Aquinnah took part in the ballet program at Duke University.
She works as an assistant at Annapurna Pictures and resides in Los Angeles at the moment. She had previously worked as a brand and marketing consultant in New York City.
Michael posted a lot of stunning pictures of his twins to commemorate Aquinnah and her sister’s 29th birthday.

Schuyler, Frances Fox, 29
Schuyler Frances Fox is the other half of the twin girls that Pollan and Fox had.
Schuyler attended Pomona College and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, according on her LinkedIn page.
During her collegiate years, she worked as a project coordinator at Columbia University Medical Center before returning to school to receive a Master of Education from Harvard University.
She works as an assistant producer in Massachusetts at the moment.
Both women maintain a modest profile and most of their social media accounts are hidden. However, they attended the Spring Moving Image Awards in June 2023 to support their father Fox, who was given a lifetime achievement award.

After their kids had all moved out, the actor revealed the couple’s intentions at a Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research fundraiser.

On his daughter’s 20th birthday in November 2021, Michael posted an Instagram picture that showed off her cute nickname, Ezzie. “20 years of joy, happy birthday Ezzie!” he wrote. In the cosmos, you are a positive force. I’m grateful for that. Xoxo, I adore you.

Even though Michael loves his family, he informed them in 22′ that his beloved mother, Phyllis Fox, had died at the age of 92. As a result, his children and the rest of his family experienced a significant loss.
