Meet Reese!
We received a call for help about this dog.
She had been starving for days; her owner never fed her.
She collapsed when getting into the car.
She was weak and had no strength left.
This dog has been locked in a cage for years.
It doesn’t even have food or water.
People said she had been there for days.
She couldn’t even stand on her own.
I’ve never seen a dog so thin—only 17 pounds (7.7 kg).
And her condition was extremely serious.
“This girl doesn’t have m.u ćh time left,” the doctor told me.
My heart b.r σke into a thousand pieces.
Her electrolytes were depleted,
and her b.l σod u.r ℮a nitrogen levels were elevated.

They sent a card for her, giving her a little extra motivation.
If only someone had fed her, she wouldn’t have ended up like this.
She was s.u ƒfering from severe stage 3 malnutrition.
Everything felt so fragile at that time.
But on the third day, a miracle happened—she was still alive.
The worst hadn’t happened.
Her heart rate and blood pressure had stabilized.
The real d.a חger was over.
I was so happy then and gave her a kiss.
She was the bravest fighter I had ever met.
I want to thank everyone who took care of her and encouraged her.
It gave her so much motivation.
Reese was happy; she just wanted to be loved and cared for.
She always wanted to be held.
On the 11th day, she exceeded our expectations.
She stood for nearly a minute.
And most importantly, Reese had gained 4.4 pounds (2 kg).
She couldn’t hide her happiness
and looked at everyone with grateful eyes.
Everything felt like a dream.
In the following days, Reese practiced hard,
and her efforts paid off.
Her steps became stronger with each day.
Finally, it was time for us to start a new life.
This was our last day at the vet.
We anxiously awaited the final results.
Everything came back good—she was healthy.
After a month, we were officially discharged.
Reese quickly adapted to her new life.
She had gained significant weight, reaching 34 pounds (15.4 kg).
And you know what else I learned about her?
I thought she was a stray, but she wasn’t.
She knew how to get into the car all by herself.
I was amazed.
Every day with her is filled with joy.
After a month, we were officially discharged.
It’s like she’s become a different dog.
Do you still recognize her?
She’s so beautiful, isn’t she?
Her owner a.b αndoned her, but God led me to her so I could help her.
So she could start a new, better life.
This is Reese, and she wants to say THANK YOU.
